LAVANCE, our distributor in France for the past 25 years, opened their new premises (with over 18.000m2) in Le Rheu, south-West Rennes, on July 2nd . It was a very busy day for LAVANCE indeed. It started with a guided tour for the press all around the facilities, followed by the official opening at 17:00 and a reception with more than 200 guests. The icing on the cake was the gala dinner, served in a beautiful spot called Le Domaine de Cicé in Bruz, with our distributor’s main 60 customers in a casino-like atmosphere.
ISTOBAL was represented by CEOs Rafael Tomás and Yolanda Tomás, and by Frederic Gelin, our Business Development Manager for France. After the official events, the Managing Director of LAVANCE, Guillaume Roux, was presented with a memento by ISTOBAL as a token of the company’s support on their opening day, as can be seen in the image gallery below.
The event was a big success for Groupe LAVANCE, who made the most of the occasion to present their new corporate image and structure, now consisting of three sub-brands intended to simplify the communication of the group’s product and service portfolio in the French market:
- LAVANCE EQUIPEMENTS for car wash equipment (standard and commercial vehicles)
- LAVANCE SERVICES for equipment installation and technical service
- LAVANCE EXPLOITATION for their own car wash installations under the SUPERJET brand
As for figures, thanks to our distributor LAVANCE, ISTOBAL has increased their net sales in France by 15% since 2011, with a turnover of 7.7 million Euro in the first half of 2015.
