ISTOBAL and its French distributor LAVANCE jointly participated in the 21st edition of this event, which was held from 16 to 20 October at the Parc d’Expositions Villepinte in Paris.
In a 200 m2 stand, the company presented for the first time in France the M’START rollover, the perfect machine to start up a profitable business in the car wash sector, as well as top-of-the-range M’NEX25H, a hybrid rollover that is able to wash only with high pressure, just brushes or with both wash options simultaneously. Other new products were presented to the French audience: the new Zeolis physical recycling equipment and other water treatment systems, as well as equipment from the new accessory range like a vacuum cleaner and a tyre gauge and pump.
Another attraction presented for the first time in France was Smartflow: the new dryer for rollovers developed by ISTOBAL, which was demonstrated from a command post during the show so that customers could appreciate its advantages. This efficient and innovative drying system is based on Cross-flow technology consisting of tangential turbines used in multiple applications. The technical features of Smartflow are intended to obtain a 70% reduction in power consumption compared to conventional horizontal drying, meeting the high quality standards required by the drying process at the same time. Another great advantage is a noise reduction of 10 dB in the drying phase.
Guillaume Roux, Managing Director of the French distributor LAVANCE, shared his impression of the 21st edition of the show: “EQUIP AUTO 2013 will definitely be remembered as one of our best exhibitions. We wanted LAVANCE AND ISTOBAL to prove together that we are not only able to offer a full range of wash machines, from the most basic to the top end, but also to show services that really make a difference. Visitors seemed to have understood this: the contacts made were very good, both quantitatively and qualitatively. Orders have already been placed and we have been called to study many interesting projects. Prospects are good for the coming months.”
According to sources in the organization of the Paris event, this year’s edition had an area of 120,000 square meters divided into four pavilions and 1,300 exhibitors. It was the most international edition indeed, with 75% of the companies exhibiting their products coming from outside France. Spain ranked sixth on the exhibitor list, with about 40 companies. The number of visitors from the sector during the five days came to 100,000. 25% of them were foreigners.
