ISTOBAL said goodbye to Automechanika with great success, hoping to increase exports outside Europe.
In the largest international event of the automotive supplier industry, ISTOBAL presented a number of technological developments in all product ranges that were highly appreciated by the sector.
The new high-end M’NEX32 rollover, the innovative wheelwash brush that reaches all grooves on rims, and a number of developments intended to improve the carwash experience were the exhibition’s highlights.
Yolanda Tomás, CEO Product Development & Marketing at ISTOBAL, underlined the efforts made by the Company in R&D and product development to meet current market demands. In this regard, she explained that other technological improvements on the new M’NEX32 praised by visitors were the brush tilting system for the rear of the vehicle, the frequency converters to control all machine motors, and the new dosing system for esens® chemicals.
She added that innovations aimed at improving the carwash experience, such as the novel Infinite Mousse Arch (foam waterfall) and the LED screens of rollover M’NEX32, were also very successful, and the same can be said of the N’joyWash jet washes, which incorporate music, scents, special lighting and accessories for children, or accessories for washing motorbikes and bicycles.
Rafael Tomás, CEO Corporate & Sales Development, remarked that after participating in the event the company expects to increase exports outside Europe. In his view, “Companies in Asia and in particular in the Middle East seem to be very interested.”
Rafael Tomás also highlighted the fact that they received visits “with good prospects for short-term sales” from customers in South America, Africa, Asia and even Australia.
Automechanika came to an end with a total of 4,820 exhibitors and 136,000 visitors from more than 170 countries.
