Attract the future
ISTOBAL sponsors the Hyperloop UPV team, consisting of students of the Spontaneous Generation Programme of the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV). The team is developing a train prototype powered with 100% renewable energy and travelling at more than 1,100 km/h. Together with the University of Purdue (Indiana), the team has been selected from 300 universities worldwide to participate in the international competition promoted by Elon Musk, to develop Hyperloop, the so-called fifth means of transport.
With this partnership, ISTOBAL fosters innovation and research at universities, and supports talented young people working in revolutionary and innovative projects like this supersonic and environmentally-friendly railed vehicle that will change mobility for good.
The UPV team has been selected from 300 universities around the world to participate in the Hyperloop Pod Competition organised by SpaceX.
As partners of Hyperloop UPV, ISTOBAL follows the steps of the students of Valencia Polytechnic University closely. The team competes with the best universities in the world in creating the train of the future.
The team is trying to find support from companies like ISTOBAL to turn a new supersonic means of transport fuelled by 100% renewable energy into a reality.
